Twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz founded eyeliner-and-riffs quartet Tokio Hotel in Germany seven years ago, and as young teens the group rocketed to international stardom, selling out stadiums across Europe. The band — androgynous Bill on vocals and Tom on guitar, drummer Gustav Schaefer and bassist Georg Listing (none of whom is old enough to grab a beer at one of their Stateside shows) — will make its U.S. debut with their first English-language album, Scream, a selection of their angsty German hits translated into English in the key of My Chemical Romance.
Les frères jumeaux Bill et Tom Kaulitz ont fondé à coup d'eyeliners et de riffs le quatuor Tokio Hotel en Allemagne, il y a sept ans, et comme de jeunes adolescents le groupe est lancé sur une célébrité internationale, vendant des stades à travers l'Europe. Le groupe - l'androgyne Bill pour le vocal et Tom à la guitare, le batteur Gustav Schaefer et le bassiste Georg Listing (aucun d'entre eux n'est assez vieux pour consommer une bière à l'un de leurs spectacles au States (Age légal 21 ans aux States...pour Georg c'est plus valable...Midian) - fera ses débuts américains avec leur premier album en langue anglaise , Scream, une sélection de leurs (angsty?) hits allemands traduit en anglais dans la lignée de My Chemical Romance.
