I translated from youtube so the first question wasn’t there. But the hosts asked TH “How are you!?”

TH: we feel fine. It’s just a bit early for us.
Knappen: Ah, we have a translator in the studio that helps us to translate the german. Both me and Hakim have read german in the school. But ours isn’t so good.
Hakim: Yes. What did you think about our german? “Ich heisse Hakim und ich habe deutsch in Schule gelernt“. (My name is Hakim and I have learned german in school)

Georg: wow, ganz gut. (Pretty good).
Host: Sehr gut! (really good).
One of the twins: Sehr gut!
Host: Super! Welcome to Sweden boys. I heard that yoy flew in from Hamburg last night.
Bill: Yeah, we arrived yesterday and went to bed pretty late. We are still very tired but it’s fun to be here.
Host: It’s nice to have you here. How long are you going to stay?
Bill: We leave this evening, tonight to Helsingfors and then back to Germany, right now we have a lot travells and things to do. But we hope that it will be a great time.
Host: Are you only out for promotion or are you going to perform as well?
Bill: This time we are only doing PR but we hope to be back soon and be able to play live.
Host: We look forward to having you here for a concert of course. So ehm I have to ask you guys because people have been asking me “Tokio Hotel, who are these guys?”. In Sweden some people just love you guys and listen to you all the time and some people don’t hardly know what you guys are. Howdid you become this big?
Bill: Honestly we don’t have a reciept for that. We don’t really know. We’ve been a band for almost 10 years and started really early and five years ago the break through came and we don’t know how. We just enjoy the time and think it’s fun that we have support from the fans.
Host: How did it happen? Did it happe nover a night or?
Bill: Yeah, it really happened over the night it was in the summer.
Host: 2005 that’s when you released the super hit I think that made you very big first in Germany and then all over the place. Monsoon. Tell us a little bit about Monsoon.
Bill: well it’s of course a really special thing for us and everytime we hear the memories keeps coming and so on. We have done so much, travelled to many countries and having huge success with our first singel and our first video. And of course we’re really attached to the song.
Host: That’s exciting guys! How about we listen to the song and and talk about your new record that’s coming up soon.
TH: yeah.
Host: So we start out with a really special song for the guys in Tokio Hotel.

Host: NRJ morning with Knappen and Hakim. It’s 8.15 and Flipsyde When it was good. This is Knappen, Hakim and Tokio Hotel that is here. We’ve been during the songs, we’ve been talking about driving. What’s the question? What is the best thing about Germany.

Bill: I believe that the best thing is that in Germany you can drive in a fast without a limit. And that there are places where you really can speed up and it’s really nice. And we can drive in 300km/h at some parts in Germany.
Host: In Sweden it’s only the king that can be driving 300 km/h. He can do it without getting charged.

Bill: you most come and visit us! You’re gladly invited!
Host: So they’re inviting us to Autobahn to drive like crazy. One of you guys has just lost his license.

Host: Could that be the drummer?
TH: Yes. Maybe. It’s totally crazy! It wasn’t really a thing to loose it over.
Host: What happened?
TH: A serial(series?) crash.
Host: serial crash? And you were causing it? Or was it your fault?
TH: yes.

Host: What did you do? Did you went in the car I’m a rockstar dudududu?
Gustav: I forgot to look in the mirror.
Host: Ah, dammit!
Gustav: And then a tram came...
Host: Dammit!

Host: that sounds crazy! You were lucky not to get hurt. Or were you? Did you get injured?
TH: Yes, a little in the head.
Host: But you’re recovering now?
Tom: he can only say some words at a time.
Host: It’s Tom that takes over here. Bill and Tom are the one that talks the most. So guys I know that you’ve been working on your new record and the fans have been waiting for it. They’ve been sitting up all night waiting for you to release the album. Tell us!
Bill: We’ve been producing during a year and really taken the time and we’ve been writing for a long time and recorded in Germany and in America. And we are very pleased and it will be exciting to hear what the fans will be saying it’s really exciting!
Host: Funny, you’ve been around the world recording this have you’ve been working with producers that we know about?
Bill: yes, we’ve mostly been working with our four producers that we’ve already made the first albums with. And we’ve done recordings in Miami but we’ve been a lot in Germany with our families and we also got two studios there. So we work in different places.
Host: Ah, you’re bringing the studios all over the world. Tom! I think Knappen has a question for you.
Knappen: Yeah, actually we’ve been talking about this and I’ve benn thinking about it. We played the Flipsyde a couple of seconds ago and the music stopped.
Tom: when I heard that song a knew that this question would come!
Host: We’re asking and the fans have been wondering about girls. Do you guys have girlfriends?
Bill: Yeah it’s only Georg that has one.
Host: The only one?
Georg: Yes.
Bill: I have to say I would like to answer something else. It’s sad but since I work with Tokio Hotel there’s no time for relationships and it’s only Georg that is lucky. We other are unfortunately not in love.

Host: So Tom, about the rumours about Chantelle in Flipsyde.
Tom: what are these rumours?
Host: Thay you’ve been hanging out, that you’ve been dating. Is that true?
Tom: Of course you can call it hanging out.
Hakim: Knappen is in love with Chantelle. We met her. She was at our concert NRJ in the park this summer. And you know Knappen hardly could speak to her.
Knappen: That’s not true! But if you’re just hanging out, you’re not dating. Cause then I would like to have...
Tom: It’s a matter of how you look at the question.
Host: Ok, he put his head in the water. So guys, you’re new album. The first singel from the new album is called Automatic. I’ve listened to the german version but I haven’t heard the english one. But that’s the one we’re gonna play now.
TH: OK.
Host: Tell us a little about the first singel.
Bill: It’s really energetic and we all knew how the first singel should be like. It’s about automatic feelings. About a girl that doesn’t have real feelings, she only pretends.
Host: Ok. Let’s listen to the song and then we’ll get back and talk to you a little bit more.

TH : Ca va bien. C’est juste qu’il est un peu tôt pour nous.
Knappen : Ah, on a un traducteur au studio pour nous aider à traduire l’allemand. Hakim et moi avons tous les deux appris l’allemand à l’école mais on n’était pas très bons.
Hakim : Oui. Que pensez-vous de notre allemand ? « Ich heiße Hakin und ich habe deutsch in Schule gelernt. » (Je m’appelle Hakim et j’ai appris l’allemand à l’école.)

Radio : Super ! Bienvenue en Suède, les garçons. J’ai entendu dire que vous êtes venus de Hambourg en avion la nuit dernière.
Bill : Ouais, on est arrivé hier et on s’est couché assez tard. On est encore très fatigué mais c’est cool d’être ici.
Radio : C’est sympa de vous avoir ici. Vous allez rester combien de temps ?
Bill : On part ce soir. On va à Helsingfors et ensuite on rentre en Allemagne. Là, nous avons beaucoup de voyages et de choses à faire. Mais on espère passer de bons moments.
Radio : Vous bougez seulement pour la promotion ou bien vous allez aussi jouer ?
Bill : Cette fois, on vient seulement pour la promo mais on espère être bientôt de retour pour pouvoir jouer en live.
Radio : On a hâte de vous avoir ici pour un concert, en tout cas. Donc, j’ai une question à vous poser parce que les gens me l’ont demandé : « Tokio Hotel, qui sont ces gars ? » En Suède, certaines personnes vous adorent tout simplement et vous écoutent à longueur de temps et d’autres savent à peine ce que vous êtes. Comment avez-vous fait pour en arriver là ?
Bill : Franchement, on n’a pas la recette. On ne sait pas vraiment. Ça fait presque dix ans que l’on est un groupe, on a commencé très tôt et il y a cinq ans tout est arrivé, d’on ne sait pas trop où. On profite juste du temps qu’on a et on pense que c’est génial d’avoir le soutien des fans.
Radio : Comment est-ce arrivé ? Du jour au lendemain ?
Bill : Ouais. C’est vraiment arrivé du jour au lendemain. C’était en été.
Radio : 2005, c’est l’année où vous avez sorti votre super hit qui vous a fait prendre la tête des charts en Allemagne puis partout ailleurs, il me semble. Monsoon. Parlez-nous un peu de Monsoon.
Bill : Eh bien, oui, c’est quelque chose de très spécial pour nous et à chaque fois, on s’aperçoit que ça reste, etc. On a fait tellement, voyagé dans beaucoup de pays, eu un énorme succès avec notre premier single et notre premier clip. Et bien sûr, on est très attaché à cette chanson.
Radio : C’est excitant ! Et si on écoutait cette chanson maintenant et qu’on parlait ensuite de votre nouvel album qui va bientôt sortir…
TH : Ouais.
Radio : Donc, on va commencer avec une chanson très spéciale pour les Tokio Hotel.

Pendant les chansons, on était en train de parler de voitures. Quelle est la question ? Quelle est la meilleure chose quand on parle de l’Allemagne.

Bill : Je crois que la meilleure chose, c’est qu’en Allemagne on peu conduire vite, il n’y a pas de limitation de vitesse. Et il y a des endroits où on peut vraiment allez très vite et c’est super sympa. A certains endroits, en Allemagne, on peut monter à 300 km/h.
Radio : En Suède, il n’y a que le roi qui peut rouler à 300 km/h. Il peut le faire sans avoir de contravention.
[Rires.]
Bill : Vous devriez venir nous voir ! On vous invite volontiers !
Radio : Ils nous invitent pour aller rouler comme des fous sur l’Autobahn [ndlt : autoroutes allemandes]. L’un d’entre vous vient juste de perdre son permis.
[Les TH rigolent.]
Radio : Se pourrait-il que ce soit le batteur ?
TH : Oui, peut-être. C’est complètement fou !
Radio : Que s’est-il passé ?
TH : Une série d’accidents.
Radio : Une série d’accidents ? Et c’est vous qui les avez provoqués ? Ou bien c’était votre faute ?
TH : Oui.
[Rires.]
Radio : Qu’est-ce que vous avez fait ? Vous avez pris la voiture ‘I’m a rockstar dudududu’ ?
Gustav : J’ai oublié de regarder dans le rétroviseur.
Radio : Oh, mince !
Gustav : Et un tramway est arrivé…
Radio : Mince !
[Rires.]
Radio : Ca a l’air fou ! Tu as eu de la chance de ne pas être blessé. A moins que tu ne l’aies été ? Tu as été blessé ?
TH : Oui, un peu à la tête.
Radio : Mais tu es rétabli maintenant ?
Tom : Il peut seulement dire quelques mots de temps en temps.
Radio : C’est Tom qui a l’avantage, là. Bill et Tom sont ceux qui parlent le plus. Alors ! Je sais que vous avez travaillé sur votre nouvel album et que les fans l’ont attendu. Ils sont restés assis ici toute la nuit pour que vous sortiez l’album. Dites-nous tout !
Bill : La production a duré un an et on a vraiment pris notre temps, on passé beaucoup de temps à écrire et à enregistrer en Allemagne et aux Etats-Unis. Et on est très content et ce sera très excitant d’entendre ce que les fans auront à dire. C’est vraiment excitant !
Radio : C’est drôle, vous avez enregistré à différents endroits sur la planète. Vous avez travaillé avec des producteurs que vous connaissiez ?
Bill : Oui, on a principalement travaillé avec nos quatre producteurs, ceux avec qui on a déjà fait les premiers albums. Et on a enregistré à Miami mais on a surtout été en Allemagne, avec nos familles. Nous avons aussi deux studios en Allemagne. Donc on travaille à différents endroits.
Radio : Ah, vous emmenez les studios partout sur la planète. Tom ! Je crois que Knappen a une question pour toi.
Knappen : Ouais. En fait, on en a parlé et j’ai pensé à ça. On a passé du Flipsyde quelques secondes et la musique s’est arrêtée.
Tom : Quand j’ai entendu la chanson, j’étais sûr que vous poseriez cette question !
Radio : On pose la question parce que les fans se demandent si vous avez des petites amies. Vous en ave ?
Bill : Ouais, seulement Georg.
Radio : C’est le seul ?
Georg : Oui.
Bill : Je dois dire que j’aimerais bien répondre autre chose. C’est triste mais depuis le début de Tokio Hotel, il n’y a pas de temps à consacrer aux relations et Georg est le seul à avoir de la chance. Malheureusement, nous autres ne sommes pas amoureux.
Radio : Alors, Tom ! A propos des rumeurs au sujet de Chantelle, de Flipsyde.
Tom : Quelles sont ces rumeurs ?
Radio : Que vous avez passé du temps ensemble, que vous êtes sortis ensembles. C’est vrai ?
Tom : Bien sûr, on peut appeler ça ‘passer du temps ensemble’.
Hakim : Knappen est amoureux de Chantelle. On l’a rencontrée. Elle était à notre concert NRJ cet été, dans le parc. Et tu sais quoi, Knappen a à peine réussi à lui parler.
Knappen : Ce n’est pas vrai ! Mais si vous avez juste passé du temps ensemble, vous n’êtes pas sortis ensemble. Parce qu’ensuite, j’aimerais avoir…
Tom : Le problème, c’est comment on regarde la question.
Radio : Ok, il s’est mis la tête sous l’eau. Bref, votre nouvel album. Le premier single du nouvel album s’appelle ‘Automatic’. J’ai écouté la version en allemand et pas celle en anglais. Mais c’est celle que l’on va mettre maintenant.
TH : Ok.
Radio : Parlez-nous un peu du premier single.
Bill : Il est vraiment énergique et nous savions tous comment on voulait que le premier single sonne. Ça parle des sentiments automatiques. C’est une fille qui n’a pas de véritables sentiments, qui fait juste semblant.

Bill : Ok, super.
Radio : Donc je vais décrocher le téléphone et l’appeler tout de suite. J’espère qu’elle répondra. Sinon, on appellera quelqu’un d’autre. C’est excitant !
[Appel.]
Radio : Pourquoi est-ce qu’elle ne répond pas ?
La fille : Salut ?
Radio : Salut ! Qui est à l’appareil ?
La fille : Salut !
[Il y a du bruit derrière.]
Radio : Qui est-ce ?
La fille : Salut, qui est là ?
Radio : A qui parlons-nous ?

[La fille crie.]
Maria : Attendez, attendez. Je n’entends rien !
Radio : Elle n’entend pas.
[On entend beaucoup de bruits bizarres au téléphone.]
Radio : Il faudrait que tu éteignes la radio, si possible.
Maria : Ok.
Radio : On a des gens qui voudraient te parler, Maria.
Maria : Ok.
Radio : Ecoute bien, maintenant.
TH : Salut, c’est Tokio Hotel et on veut juste te dire que c’est toi qui as gagné. Tu vas nous rencontrer ce soir.
Maria : Oh mon Dieu !
Radio : Tu as gagné ! Tu vas rencontrer Tokio Hotel.

Radio : La foule dehors. Il y a à peu près 500 personnes devant les studios. C’est complètement fou ! On a une petite surprise pour vous. Vous verrez tout à l’heure seulement, comme ça vous êtes obligés de rester encore un peu.
Bill : Ok.

Radio : NRJ Morning avec Knappen et Hakim. Et les Tokio Hotel sont toujours là. Les rock stars allemandes. Les super stars ! Et pour ceux qui attendent dehors, sachez qu’ils viendront vous faire un petit coucou si vous restez bien dehors, derrière la porte 35. Ouais ! Dans une minute. Ils vont venir vous faire coucou. 3 et 5. Ça fait 35. Et on a une surprise pour vous.
Bill : Ok.
Radio : On nous a dit que l’un d’entre vous est plus vieux aujourd’hui.
TH : Ouais, c’est vrai.
Radio : Ou disons qu’il est un peu moins jeune, je ne sais pas. C’est qui ?
TH : Gustav !!!
Radio : On voudrait chanter une chanson. Donc on va faire ça maintenant. Ouais ! Comment c’est déjà ?
[Ils chantent ‘Joyeux Anniversaire’. Les garçons applaudissent et crient.]
Radio : Le rock dans l’âme. Les garçons, merci beaucoup de vous être levés tôt pour venir nous voir.
TH : Merci beaucoup.
Radio : Bonne chance pour votre travail d’aujourd’hui et de demain à Helsinki.
Bill : Ok.
Radio : Et oui ! Pour votre tournée. C’est une question très importante pour les fans ici. Vous jouerez en Suède ?
TH : On est en train de planifier la tournée en ce moment. On fera une grande tournée en 2010 et on viendra probablement en Suède aussi.
Radio : Ouais, espérons qu’ils viendront en Suède. C’est tellement cool ! Tokio Hotel, ladies and gentlemen ! Merci beaucoup d’être venus, les garcons !
TH : Merci !

Jag fick äntligen träffa Tokio Hotel

Jag och grabbarna på deras hotell, efter intervjun! Jag är fortfarande i chocktillstånd, känns inte riktigt som att det här har hänt.

När grabbarna klev in i rummet möttes jag av varma leenden och så skakade vi hand. Sedan satte vi oss ner och medan kameramännen höll på att fixa lite fortfarande satt vi bara och stirrade på varandra, haha! Jag förklarade till Bill att jag är ett stort fan och väldigt nervös och han lugnade ner mig med sitt fina leende - “aaaw, its okey!”

Sen fortsatte den pinsama tystnaden. Jag försökte bryta den genom att småsnacka lite men vi satt mest bara och tittade nyfiket på varandra. Det var som att det inte var någon annan där, jag var lost! Sen bröt Tom isen genom att säga “Skiiit.. skiit skiit, tack tack. skiit” (de enda svenska orden de kan) i mickarna när han skulle testa om de var på. Jag ville lägga mig ner på golvet och dö av garv men behärskade mig. Var trots allt där för jobb!

Intervjun gick bra. Det var lite jobbigt med tolken och jag hann inte med alla frågor men de var så snälla. När de satt där och tittade in i mina ögon och svarade på frågorna på tyska (innan tolken översatte) så lovar jag att jag trodde att jag skulle drunkna i deras fina ögon.

Efter intervjun tog vi bild ihop (jag höll på att dö när jag kände att tvillingarna la varsin arm runt mig, jag höll om Bill) och sedan tackade vi varandra för intervjun. Hann även slänga in ett “vi ses ikväll på M&G:et” och Tom frågade om jag skulle dit, yes svarade jag och han sa något i stil med “oooh okey! see you!”

Så otroligt charmiga killar. Jag är så glad!!!

Me and the boys at their hotel, after the interview! I am still in shock, it doesn't feel like it really happened.

When the boys entered the room I was met with warm smiles and then we shook hands. Then we sat down and while the cameramen fixed soem stuff, we all just sat and stared at each other, haha! I told Bill that I am a big fan and very nervous and he calmed me down with his beautiful smile - "aaww, it's okey"


After that the awkward silence continued. I tried to break the ice with small talk but for the most part we wwere jsut sitting and looking curiously at eachother. It was like nobody else were there, I was lost. Then Tom broke the ice by saying “Skiiit.. skiit skiit, tack tack. skiit” (=shit, shit, shit, thanks, thanks, shit) which is the only swedish words they know into the microphones. I wanted to roll on the floor dying with laughter, but controlled my urge. I was there to work after all. .

The interview went well. It was a bit annoying with the translator and that I didn't get to ask all my questions. When they sat there and looked into my eyes answering in german (before the translator translated), I promise you, I thought I would drown in their beautiful eyes.

After the interview we took a picture (I almost died when the twins put their arms around me, I held my arm around Bill) and then we thanked each other for the interview. I even had time to say "See you at the M&G tonight" and Tom asked me if I was going to be there, yes I said and he said something along with “oooh okey! see you!”

So unbelievably charming boys. I am so happy!!!

Moi et les garçons à l’hôtel, après l’interview ! Je suis toujours sous le choc, c’est comme si je venais de sortir d’un rêve.

Quand les garçons sont entrés dans la salle, j’ai été accueillie avec des sourires chaleureux, et ensuite, nous nous sommes serrés la main. Après, on s’est assis, et pendant que le caméraman ajustait son matériel, on est juste resté assis, et on s’est regardé, haha ! J’ai dit à Bill que j’étais une grande fan et que j’étais très nerveuse, mais il m’a calmée avec son magnifique sourire – « Aww, ce n’est rien. »

Après, le gros silence s’est prolongé. J’ai essayé de briser la glace en parlant un peu, mais pendant la plus grande partie du temps, on était juste là, assis, à se regarder avec curiosité. C’était comme si il n’y avait personne d’autre, j’étais perdue. Ensuite, Tom a brisé le silence en disant « Skiiit… skii skiit, tack tack, skiit » (= Merde, merde merde, merci merci, merde), qui sont les seuls mots qu’il connait en suédois. J’étais à la limite de me rouler par terre tellement je riais (Oulàààà .. ), mais je me suis contrôlée. Après tout, j’étais ici pour le travail.

L’interview s’est bien déroulée. C’était un peu ennuyeux avec le traducteur, et je n’ai pas pu poser toutes mes questions. Les voir assis ici, me regardant dans les yeux en me répondant en allemand (avant que le traducteur ne fasse son travail), je vous promets, j’ai cru que j’allais me noyer dans leur beaux yeux.

Après l’interview, nous avons pris une photo (j’ai presque cru mourir quand les jumeaux m’ont pris par la taille, j’ai mis mon bras autour de Bill) et ensuite on s’est remercié pour l’interview. J’ai même eu le temps de dire « On se voit au M&G ce soir », et Tom m’a demandé si j’allais y être, j’ai répondu oui, et il a répondu un truc du genre « Oooh d’accord ! On se voit là-bas ! »

Des garçons incroyablement charmants. Je suis tellement heureuse !!!
